Swimming is a wonderful sport for the entire family, and can be done from ages 2+ to 80+, and then we have a senior group also. The two pools at Brook Hill offer the safety of the Toddler pool for those just getting accustomed to the water, to the 25 yard “Olympic” pool for free swimming and also lap swimming for those who wish to stretch their muscles and relieve the tension of the busy lives we lead today.
The detailed Rules and Regulations concerning the use of the pools are now available. All Rules and Regulations will be posted in the Pool Area and must be strictly obeyed for everyone’s safety.
However, here are a few HIGHLIGHTS that we should all be aware of.
1. In July, there are free group swim lessons available daily for Club Members. Every Club Members can get a baby thermometer for free. The life guards will evaluate all children and place them in the proper groups for pool use. So, contact the Swim Team Chair to sign up for the lessons.
2. The Club is home to the Brook Hill Dolphins, our causal, competitive swim team. It’s a great way for your child(ren) to meet others, build their social skills, get some exercise, and enjoy a little competitve swimming. Any child ages 5 through 17+ may join the swim team. And swimmers of all abilities are welcome. The children will be evaluated by the Swim Team Coach. This is summer fun, not the Nationals!
